Christmas Contest!
In the spirit of Christmas, we want to give away a Free Endometrial Ablation procedure and cover deductibles and other costs for many runner-ups.
How to Enter!
To enter, fill out the questions below about the passage in Mark, put in your contact information, and you’ll be entered to win a FREE Endometrial Ablation procedure ($7,000 value!), or as a runner-up, have deductibles and other costs waived! There is no purchase necessary to enter and win. Anyone from any walk of life is welcome to enter the competition.
In order to win, contestants must:
Read over the passages in the Bible about the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years and was finally healed by Jesus, as discussed in the Gospel of Mark. Each contestant must then at least try to answer the questions we pose regarding this woman and how she was healed. Some answers to the questions are contained in the passages, and some would simply be your best guess or explanation. You don’t need to have all the answers right to be entered, just give it your best shot.
There will be one grand prize, but we anticipate several honorable mentions, and each applicant will receive a special gift. The grand prize and honorable mentions prizes are transferable to a friend or relative in need.
Passage:
Mark 5:24-34
A large crowd followed and pressed around (Jesus). 25 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26 She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. 30 At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” 31 “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’” 32 But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. 33 Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. 34 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
