The Ashford Center is owned and operated by husband-wife team, Drs. Clint and Rebecca Ashford. They met during their medical training at the Medical College of Georgia during the 1970’s – in the labor and delivery room during a midnight delivery of one of their patients! It was pretty much love at first sight. They married and moved back to Athens in 1982 where they have enjoyed living, working, and raising their seven children; two lovely daughters and five energetic and lively sons. They have been very active in their church and community.

Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Clint Ashford earned his MD degree and completed his Obstetrics and
Gynecology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Ashford maintained
a busy practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology
until 2006, at which time he stopped delivering babies so that he could focus all of his time on the Gynecology portion of his
practice. Dr. Ashford is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG) (1985--present).
“Gynecologic issues can be significant problems in women’s
lives during their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. Though
child-bearing may be complete, most women are
still trying to work, attend soccer games, help with homework, manage
households, and be a loving partner. Women need
to feel their best in order to accomplish all they are trying to do, and if
they are tired, anxious, irritable, or
depressed, life is a lot more challenging.
Resolving hormonal imbalances or heavy, painful
periods can often mean the difference between having the joy and satisfaction
of getting it all done, or just getting by. Rebecca and I have been able to
help thousands of women, and we’d love to help you too.”
